This handle is composed of an overmoulded handle and of loops of metal wire the ends of the branches of which are positioned by means of an axial core (6) integral with the handle. According to the invention, the axial core (6) is fitted to one of the ends of a tubular reinforcing member (5), the other end of which has a plug (14) including radial tenons (17) for positioning the reinforcing member (5) in the overmoulding mould, this plug (14) being produced from the same synthetic material as that which makes up the overmoulding layer enveloping the tubular reinforcing member (5) and its two ends. <IMAGE>
