PURPOSE:To provide an air conditioner of the type of a water heat source heat pump capable of effectually preventing refrigerant pressure in a double pipe type water heat exchanger from being raised and of proper operation. CONSTITUTION:In an air conditioner including a double pipe type water heat exchanger 7 for cooling and condensing a refrigerant from a compressor 6, it further includes a bypass pipe 27 for communicating an upstream side of the refrigerant of an outer pipe 24 of the double pipe type water heat exchanger 7 and a piping 25 provided at a refrigerant outlet of the double pipe type heat exchanger 7 with each other, a release valve 28 for closing the bypass pipe 27 when refrigerant pressure in the outer pipe 24 of the double pipe type heat exchanger 22 exceeds a predetermined value, and a fluid reception tank 29 provided on the bypass pipe 27 for once storing the refrigerant passing through the release valve 28. |
