<p>PURPOSE:To improve the controllability by deciding the control value in consideration of the rotation frequency and the converting direction of the valve operating timing of an internal combustion engine, in this valve operating timing control device in the internal combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:In this control device to convert the valve operating timing by converting the rotating phase of a camshaft to a crankshaft, a means 1 to detect the operating condition of an internal combustion engine, a means 2 to decide the adequate timing of the valve from the operating condition of the engine, a means 3 to detect the phase difference of a camshaft to a crankshaft so as to grasp the present timing of the valve, and a means 4 being the control value deciding means to make the present timing in an adequate timing, and to decide the control value depending on the present timing, the adequate timing, and the rotation frequency of the internal combustion engine, are provided. Furthermore, a means 5 to discriminate the converting direction (spark advance and spark delay) from the phase difference between the present timing and the adequate timing is provided, so as to reflect the converting direction for deciding the control value.</p> |
