PURPOSE:To obtain an image forming device provided with a process cartridge in which the deterioration of an image is little and which can be miniaturized. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a residual toner storing part 15 having a residual toner feeding means 24 in a toner hopper 10, and a toner existence detector 39 provided through the toner hopper 10 and constituted of a magnet attracting magnetic one-component toner 9 and a connecting lever 35. When the reduction of new toner 9 in the toner hopper 10 is detected by the detector 39, the means 24 is opened through the lever 35 and residual toner is refluxed to the toner hopper 10. Thus, the mixture of the new toner 9 with the residual toner in the toner hopper 10 is prevented, and the deterioration of the image from the initial use of the process cartridge 1 by the mixture is prevented. |
