<p>PURPOSE:To save a defect by mounting a TFT for supplement use without giving redundancy on the TFT in the inside of a panel in a large area TFT- LCD. CONSTITUTION:A source pad part 13, a source cut part 14, a gate pad part 15, a gate cut part 16, a drain pad part 17, and a drain cut part 18 are provided to a source 10, a gate 11, and a drain 12 that is the three terminals of each TFT in the plane constitution of the TFT formed on a liquid crystal panel, and in the case of a defective TFT, each cut part is cut off by a laser. The TFT for supplement use is prepared on another silicon substrate, and the TFT for supplement use is joined with each pad part, thereby, the occurrence of a picture element defect can be saved. Thereby, the defect can be corrected without complicating the constitution of the TFT on the liquid crystal panel.</p> |
