<p>PURPOSE:To realize an exhaust emission control device of a diesel engine for vehicle which can rationalize the removing work of diesel particulates accumulated to an electrode. CONSTITUTION:The diesel particulates included in the exhaust gas of a diesel engine are separated from the exhaust gas by applying a theory of electric dust collection. That is, a high voltage power source 6 applies a specific voltage to an electrode rod (electrode body) 42, and the larger diameter part 91b of a fixed cylindrical body (a container) 91 collects the diesel particulates by the electrostatic power. A vibration device 98 gives a continuous vibration to the larger diameter part 91b, so as to drop down the diesel particulates accumulated to the inner surface of the larger diameter part 91b.</p> |
