PURPOSE:To simplify a constitution and to obtain high image quality by providing an electrode roller installed in a position opposite to the fixed magnet of an electrostatic latent image carrier with a prescribed gap and composed of a magnetic substance. CONSTITUTION:The electrostatic latent image carrier 6 on which an electrostatic latent image is formed attracts a magnetic developer 7 by a magnet 8, to carry the developer 7 in the direction of A and simultaneously, form the nap 9 of the developer 7. The nap 9 forms a stable developer layer and simultaneously, prevents the dropping of the developer 7 from a gap. The developer 7 attracted to the electrode roller 10 is carried in the direction of B by into rotational force. Therefore, each component fills divided roles as well, to simplify the constitution. Further, the electrode roller 10 has the moving direction of B, that is, rotated in the direction opposite to the advancing direction of A in the electrostatic latent image carrier 6, so that a bare electrode roller 10 minutely removes the toner and the high image quality can be obtained. |
