<p>PURPOSE: To shorten an opening/closing time and to enhance a reflux quantity by protruding a bush end facing a valve seat in a tangent direction beyond a ball equator and restricting a free space for reversing a flow direction of a flowing medium with a ball surface at a push area. CONSTITUTION: In the three-port two-position switch valve 10, a valve ball 30 is accommodated between two inserts provided on a center portion of an axial hole of a casing and is selectively seated on a valve seat 18 provided on opposed edges of the respective inserts. In this case, an end portion, facing the valve seat 18 at a high pressure side, of a bush 20 accommodating and retaining the valve ball 30 is extended in a tangential direction beyond a ball equator 41. Thereby, a free space 43 is defined with a ball surface 42 in the bush 20 and a flowing medium flowing along the ball surface 42 is direction- changed by approximately 180 deg. by the space 43. Thereby, a flowing force operating in a release direction of the valve ball 30 is enhanced and a release speed of the valve ball 30 can be enhanced.</p> |
