PURPOSE:To store removed toners in different toner-storage parts after separating them into colors, to prevent deterioration of image quality, resulting from base soiling, etc., even in recycling, to make copying costs inexpensive because the toners can be recycled, to eliminate the need for a cleaner for each color, to achieve an inexpensive device because the structure is simplified and miniaturized, and to minimize an installation space. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with an image carrier 1, a first development part, a second development part 2, and a cleaner 4 which removes residual toner on the surface of the image carrier 1. The cleaner 4 is provided with: a box body 5; a cleaning blade 6 supported by the box body 5; the first and second toner storage parts 11 and 12, respectively, formed from a bulkhead provided in the box body; a movable partition plate 9 provided on the bulkhead on the upstream side of the cleaning blade 6 so as to be in contact with the image carrier 1 and separated from it; and a first and second toner carrying members 14 and 15, respectively, provided in the first and second toner storage parts 11 and 12, respectively.
