PURPOSE:To obtain high feeding reliability with overlap feed hardly generated at an intermediate tray part with a common inlet-outlet and obtain rapid switch- back action so as to allow the rotation of a carrier roller to be switched in a short time. CONSTITUTION:A paper separating clutch 45b and a delivery clutch 45d are fitted to the end part of a shaft inserted through the feed side roller 30a of a paper separating roller. Driving force is obtained from a drive motor 45e rotated in one direction, and the rotating direction is switched by the alternate interruption of a stacking clutch 45n and a paper refeeding clutch 45o. At the stacking time, the stacking clutch 45n and the paper separating clutch 45b are connected, and the refeeding clutch 45o is disconnected so as to rotate a carrier roller 34 and the feed side roller 30a in the lead-in direction. At the paper refeeding time, the stacking clutch 45n is disconnected, and the refeeding clutch 45o and the paper separating clutch 45b are connected. |
