PURPOSE:To enable easy fixing of a top plate as well as its safe fixing to be carried out by a method wherein a step part of a front surface plate or a rear surface plate is provided with a projection, a lid-like top plate is arranged to be fitted on the projection part, the entire circumference of an end surface of the top plate is applied with a curl and at the same time each of the corners is formed into a saw-tooth shape. CONSTITUTION:This outdoor device is so constructed that an upper part of a front surface plate 31 and an upper part of a rear surface plate 32 are provided with stair-type steps 33. The steps 33 form a plurality of projections 34 and then a top plate flange is formed in the steps 33. A lid-like top plate 35 is formed by a coated steel plate. A lower end surface of it is provided with a curling part 36 formed by bending an entire circumference. Four corner end surfaces 37 are formed into saw-teeth shapes. With such an arrangement as above, when the top plate 35 is to be fixed, the curling part 36 is contacted with a plurality of projections 34 at the step part 33, resulting in that it is resiliently fixed to the front surface plate 31 and the rear surface plate 32 due to the fact that the curling 36 has a certain degree of spring characteristic. |
