PURPOSE:To speedily and easily rewrite the look-up table memory without any disturbance on a screen. CONSTITUTION:In the free area of a frame memory 42, data (LUT (look up table) setting data) to be set in the LUT memory 434 are stored, and the LUT setting data are read out of the frame memory 42 in a vertical blanking period in the control of a display controller 44 and supplied as write data to the LUT memory 434 through an input register 431. Simultaneously, an address counter 437 generates a write address for the LUT memory 434 and a multiplexer 433 switches the address as the address of the LUT memory 434 as a substitute for read data (display data in a display period) from the frame memory 434, thereby writing the LUT setting data from the frame memory 42 in the LUT memory 434. |
