PURPOSE:To provide a range hood capable of increasing a collecting efficiency by a method wherein oily smoke overflown out of a main body of the hood is sucked into the main body of the hood and a flowing-out of the oily smoke within the main body is prevented. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a hood main body 3 having its lower surface opened; an air discharging blower 5 having at its both side surfaces suction ports 4 arranged inside the hood main body 3; a filter 9 arranged to be oppositely inclined against the suction port 4 of the air discharging blower 5 and forming a gas collecting space 8 between the hood main body 3 and the air discharging blower 5; and auxiliary suction ports 11 arranged at both right and left side surfaces of the hood main body 3 forming the gas collecting space 8. |
