<p>PURPOSE:To provide a signal processing circuit for an optical encoder limiting the labor for manufacturing to the minimum and capable of simplifying the circuit structure. CONSTITUTION:A signal processing circuit for an optical rotary encoder is provided with a pair of light receiving elements 1A, 1B arranged to face a light emitting element 3 via a shielding plate having many slits and a pair of differential amplifiers 6A, 6B comparing detection signals obtained by a pair of light receiving elements 1A, 1B with the reference signal, amplifying them, and generating binary phase signals for their outputs. A pair of light receiving elements 1A, 1B have the same characteristic, individual detection signals are fed to a pair of differential amplifiers 6A, 6B on one-side input, and the average integrated voltage of individual detection signals is fed to a pair of differential amplifiers 6A, 6B on the other-side input as the reference voltage via a common integrating circuit.</p> |
