<p>PURPOSE: To obtain hydrostatic axial piston pump having a reduced length. CONSTITUTION: A hydrostatic axial piston pump having significantly reduced overall length due to a three point bearing arrangement for a main shaft 1 and a charge pump shaft 12 is provided. The three point bearing arrangement comprises a first bearing 6 located adjacent the end of the main shaft 1, which is opposite the end coupled to the charge pump shaft 12, a second bearing 14 located adjacent the end of the charge pump shaft, which is opposite the end coupled to the main shaft, and a third bearing 23 which is common for the main shaft and the charge pump shaft and located at the junction of the two shafts.</p> |
