<p>PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption by setting the power feed time interval long if a timer detects that the flow is a value smaller than the preset value and suppressing the power feed frequency when the usage of gas is stopped. CONSTITUTION:When the usage of gas is started and a flow occurs in a gas passage 2, a flow sensor generates an output proportional to the flow. The sensor 3 is driven by the power fed from a power source 5 at every fixed time. A control means 6 feeds power at every fixed time to intermittently drive the sensor 3. The second timer 6a counts the power feed time intervals, and a timer 7 counts up the cases that the output of the sensor 3 is the preset value or below. A switching means 8 switches the power feed time interval determined by the control means 6 for the case that the value indicated by the timer 7 is the preset value or below and the case that the value is the preset value or above.</p> |
