COLOR FILTER FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE:To decrease the lens effect of the semicylindrical monochromatic layers of color filter layers provided by printing. CONSTITUTION:This color filter 10 is constituted of a transparent substrate 1 and color filter layers 2 deposited on this substrate 1. The color filter layers 2 are alternately arranged with at least the two monochromatic layers 2a of red(R) or green(G) or blue(B) in a stripe form. The respective surfaces of the monochromatic layers 2a are subjected to a flattening treatment in such a manner that a lens effect is suppressed.
