<p>PURPOSE:To provide a hot water storage type electric water heater which can judge the cause why an additional heating is not performed by a display on the remote controller. CONSTITUTION:A water heater control means 3 heats water by a lower side heater 4 by utilizing a specified time zone electricity such as midnight rate electricity, etc., conforming to an operation mode which is selected by a remote controller 1, and also operation-controls the title electric water heater so that an addition heating may be performed by an upper side heater 5 of the lower side heater 4, conforming to an additional heating mode which is selected by the remote controller 1. Also, the water heater control means 3 judges whether an additional heating is required or not, and whether the execution of the additional heating mode is possible or not. A display device control means 2 displays the quantity of residual hot water on an image display device 11, and at the same time, displays the image of a heater corresponding to the lower side heater 4 and upper side heater 5, and during the current-carrying to each heater, the display device control means 2 adds an image to show that the current- carrying is going on to the image of each heater.</p> |
