PURPOSE:To eliminate a press fitting failure and to improve workability by positioning a fixed holder to hold an oil seal onan end face of a crankshaft, moving a liquid cylinder in the state where it is fixed with a setting bolt and detecting the direction of the oil seal through a sensor of a sliding holder. CONSTITUTION:In case of engaging an oil seal 6 with a crankshaft 3 of an internal combustion engine, after previously fitting the oil seal 6 on a fixed holder 9 at first, a positioning pin 9a is introduced to a positioning hole 4 of the crankshaft 3, and by fastening a setting bolt 8 screwed in a setting screw hole 5, the fixed holder 9 is fixed on the end face of the crankshaft 3. Thereafter, a starting button of an operation box is pressed, and when a seating confirmation sensor 12 and an oil seal direction sensor 15 respectively output signals to show normality, pressure oil is introduced to a pressure oil cylinder 11 by way of changing over a solenoid valve, and by moving a sliding holder 7, the oil seal 6 is press fit between a flywheel housing 2 and the crankshaft 3. |
