PURPOSE: To provide a leveling apparatus for positioning all heddle frame at the same height when a weaving machine stops. CONSTITUTION: The ends 5a of a pivot pin by which all of rocking levers 1 of a cam mechanism used for forming the openings of the weaving machine are supported by two eccentric bodies cooperating with a frame 9 of the mechanism and as a result thereof, the turning of the eccentric bodies causes the leveling of heddle frame arm assemblies 13 and 14 to be carried out by the lateral displacement of the pin and the rocking of the levers pressed to stopper 15. At this time, the cam mechanism is constituted to act force at the ends of the pins in such a manner that force is elastically acted on a bearing surface fixed in the frame of the mechanism during the ordinary working of the mechanism to the pivot pin.
