PURPOSE:To facilitate the assembly and widen the diffusion range of light without using a reflecting plate by arranging side view type light emission diodes, which emit light in parallel to their fitting surfaces so that they face in target light emission directions. CONSTITUTION:At the entire circumferential edge part of a discoid substrate 3, couples of lead insertion holes are formed at equal distance intervals. Each pair of lead insertion holes are formed so that the line connecting both the holes is perpendicular to a radial direction of the substrate 3, and the side view type light emitting diodes 4 are fitted in the respective pairs of lead insertion holes. Further, the reverse surfaces of diode main bodies 4a are constituted as fitting surfaces 4c and two lead parts are projected downward from each fitting surface 4c. Namely, The side view type light emitting diodes 4 emit light in parallel to the fitting surfaces 4c. Then the signal lamp A is so constituted that the respective light emitting diodes 4 face in different directions at equal intervals and emit light in the directions. |
