PURPOSE:To obtain the musical sound generating device which provides a musical performance with rich variation by making a stereophonic feeling when a damper pedal is stepped in different from a stereophonic feeling when not stepped as to a musical sound generating device which changes the stereophonic feelings according to whether or not the pedal is depressed. CONSTITUTION:This musical sound generating device consists of a storage means 11 stored with musical sound waveform data, a 1st indication means 17 which indicates sound generation, a musical sound signal generating means 18 which generates a musical sound signal based on the specific musical sound waveform data in the storage means 11 in response to the indication of the 1st indication means 17, a 2nd indication means 14 which indicates the generation of a specific musical effect, and a stereophonic signal generating means 19 which generates an artificial stereophonic signal on the basis of the musical sound signal outputted by the musical sound signal generating means 18 in response to the indication of the 2nd indication means 14. |
