PURPOSE: To realize a combination use and a substitution of various kinds of sheaves and driving belts and to realize a long service life and an effective operation performance by setting an inclination angle, upper width, lower width, depth and distance between centers of two adjacent grooves for winding and sliding the driving belt at an outer periphery end of the sheaves within a specific range, respectively. CONSTITUTION: In this sheave, two adjacent grooves for winding and sliding driving belts are formed on outer periphery ends. In this case, a dimension at each portion of the grooves is set so as to satisfy the following value; namely, an inclination angle S from an upper end to a lower end at a side wall of the groove is set 34 deg.-42 deg., and a width (a) at the upper end of the groove is set 15.7 mm-16.6 mm and width (b) at the lower end of the groove is set 3.53 mm-5.86 mm, respectively. The minimum value of depth C vertically measured from the upper end to the lower end of the groove is set 16.3 mm, and distance (e) between centers of the respective lower ends of both adjacent grooves is set 15.2 mm-19.1 mm. Thereby, the upper end of the groove is engaged with an upper portion near to a core of the belt in operation and selective spacing of the belt bottom from the lower end of the groove is ensured. |
