PURPOSE:To prevent color capture data from being meaninglessly displayed as a large value by stopping the generation of the capture data at the timing instructed from the outside or internally generated at the time of moving a probe. CONSTITUTION:When no write exhibit signal exists at the time of making color capture display, a color capture processing section 6 generates color capture data K from color flow data N and a DSC 7 picturizes the data K. Then a CRT 8 makes the color capture display. While a user presses a mute key 12 for the movement, etc., of a probe 2, the processing section 6 does not write new color flow data N, but generates the color capture data K from the preceding color flow data N, and outputs the data K to the DSC 7. Therefore, the color capture data can be prevented from being displayed as a meaningless picture having a large value. |
