摘要

PURPOSE:To mold a molded object having uniform fiber distribution by realizing dummy multi-axial molding in the case of the monoaxial press molding of a fiber reinforced material having three-dimensional random fiber orientation without damaging three-dimensional random fiber orientation. CONSTITUTION:A double twist fiber bundle aggregate is impregnated with a phenol resin to prepare a compd. containing fibers having three-dimensional random orientation and this compound is molded to obtain a temporary molded object 7 wherein the length of one side is 125 times that of one side of a final shape. Only four sides of this temporary molded object are pressed in a lateral direction using a ram 5 so as to obtain final shape and size. The pressed intermediate molded object 8 is received in a molding jig 3 to be subjected to monoaxial press molding by a ram 4.
