<p>PURPOSE:To permit the stable changeover of the transport passage by allowing the direction of the axis of a changeover roller and the top edge of a sheet to cross aslantly in a plane including a transport surface. CONSTITUTION:The cenrter axis of a changeover roller 1 is arranged so as to cross the front edge of a sheet 2 transported in the upper course of the transport passage of a branched part at a small angle (alpha) in a plane including the transport surface of the sheet 2. Accordingly, when the sheet is transported, the corner angle part 2a of the front edge of the sheet 2 contacts the edge part on the side corresponding to the changeover roller 1. The inclination of the changeover roller 1 for the top edge of the sheet 2 may be reverse. Accordingly, the shock in the contact between the top edge of the sheet 2 and the peripheral surface of the changeover roller 1 is lightened, an the stable changeover of the transport passage free from the shock noise and the sheet jam due to the impact can be carried out.</p> |
