PURPOSE:To provide a paper money receptacle with the simple structure which surely prevents the interference between an accommodated paper money and a paper money in transport. CONSTITUTION:A paper money receptacle 1 is equipped with a transport belt 26 for transporting a paper money P to an accommodation waiting position, paper money receptacle cabinet 4 arranged oppositely to the transport belt 26, keeping the accommodation waiting position interposed, and a pair of guide plates 41 and 41 which are arranged on both the sides of the transport belt 26 between the accommodation waiting position and the paper money receipt 4 and is constituted so that each edge part on the transport belt 26 side slidingly contacts both the side edge parts Pa and Pa of the paper money P at the accommodation waiting position, and can be moved in reciprocation along the side part of the transport belt 26. After the edge part of each guide plate 41 is set close to the reverse side of the paper money P by simultaneously operating a pair of guide plates 41 and 41 in reciprocation, the paper money P is sent out to the paper money receptacle cabinet 4 side through the returning movement. Further, at the edge part of each guide plate 41, a projection part 41a extending to the paper money receptacle cabinet 4 side is installed. |
