PURPOSE:To achieve higher quality of picture without restricting a frame cycle of an ultrasonic wave by arranging more than two frame memories to read out organic image data by the subsequent TV frame trigger sequentially after the organic image data are written into the frame memories sequentially by an ultrasonic frame trigger. CONSTITUTION:Three frame memories 5a, 5b and 5c connected to an input selector 4 have capacity enough to store one frame of image data and are connected to an output selector 6. A synchronous signal generation circuit 12 is connected to a memory control circuit 11. When an ultrasonic frame trigger UST is applied to the memory control circuit 11 from a transmitting/receiving wave generation circuit 10, a writing selection signal is outputted to an input selector 4 so that organic image data are written by one frame sequentially into the frame memories 5a-5c. After the end of the writing, the contents of the frame memory selected with the output selector 6 are read out by a TV trigger TVT at the subsequent timing. |
