PURPOSE: To provide a coloring matter acceptive element for the heat-sensitive coloring matter transfer comprising a substrate having a coloring matter image acceptive layer on one face. CONSTITUTION: A coloring matter image acceptive layer contains a linear phenoxy resin not containing substantially a free hydroxyl provided by blocking the free hydroxyl of phenoxy resin induced from epichlorohydrin and bisphenol-A by ester, amido, ether or silyl ether.
