PURPOSE:To obtain a beer taste non-alcoholic carbonated drink having efficacies originated in Fomes japonicus such as a metabolism stimulating effect for body lipid, a hepatotonic effect, an hypotensive effect, etc., and useful as a health drink, etc., by mixing extract of F. japonicus with a carbonated drink. CONSTITUTION:The non-alcoholic carbonated drink having beer-like taste, sharp bitterness, mushroom odor smacking of fermentation and deep brown tints of hot water extract for F. japonicus and having efficacies originated in F. japonicus such as a metabolism stimulating effect for body lipid, a hepatotonic effect, a hypotensive effect, etc., by crushing dried F. japonicus bodies to an appropriate size, boiling the crushed matter in hot water to obtain an extract containing about 7% of a hot-water soluble material consists of an effective component of F. japonicus, adding the extract to a carbonated drink made of mineral water and carbon dioxide gas in an amount corresponding to 3g of dried F. japonicus body to 100cc of said carbonated drink and thoroughly shaking the mixture. |
