PURPOSE:To prevent electronic components from inclination toward one side when packed in a case by a method wherein the electronic components are attached to tape in the longitudinal direction with the terminal pins thereof secured to both the sides of the tape. CONSTITUTION:A mount paper 5 and an adhesive paper 4 having its side opposite to the mount paper coated with adhesive are set on a pair of rollers to securely hold the terminal pins 3 of LED 1 between the mount paper 5 and the adhesive paper 4 at predetermined intervals. During this operation, a series of LED's 1 are secured to each side of the tape 6 and the two LED's 1 are arranged in laterally aligned pair between each adjacent hole 7. When a case is packed with the tapes, the difference in the thickness of the tape between its sides resulting from the overlapping of electronic components is almost completely eliminated by the afore-said electronic component arrangement, thereby realizing a radially taped electronic component which, in the case, is prevented from inclination toward one side and from the looseness tending to cause damage thereto. |
