PURPOSE: To obtain a bactericidal granular compsn. contg. a dithiocarbamate and a wetting component and having significantly improved flowability, a reduced degree of powdering and increased bulk density. CONSTITUTION: This bactericidal granular compsn. contains 20-95 wt.%, preferably 50-80 wt.% one or more kinds of dithiocarbamates (A), preferably metallic salts of ethylenebisdithiocarbamic acid, dimethyldithiocarbamic acid and propylenedithiocarbamic acid and 2.5-20 wt.%, preferably 2.5-10 wt.% wetting component (B) such as water, alcohol, ammonia, carbon disulfide and glycol. In this compsn., the content of ethylenethiourea can be significantly reduced. The compsn. is obtd. by preparing a 1st slurry consisting of the component A, water-soluble zinc and the component B, wet-grinding it and spray-drying the resultant 2nd slurry having 2-7μm median particle diameter.
