PURPOSE:To facilitate the operation to mount the antifogging mirror, to reduce the thickness and weight of the mirror and to efficiently transfer heat by providing the rear surface of a heat transmission plate in tight contact with the rear surface of the mirror with plural pieces of heaters which internally have planar heating elements consisting of positive characteristic thermistors and are circuirerentially covered air insulating members. CONSTITUTION:The heat transmission plate 2 is stuck by, for example, an adhesive to the rear surface of the mirror 1. Plural pieces of the heaters 3... having the heating elements 4 are mounted at prescribed intervals to the rear surface 2c of this heat transmission plate 2. The heating elements 4 are formed of the positive characteristic thermistors having a positive temp. coefft. and have electrodes 4a, 4a which have a flat cylindrical shape and are coated with, for example, a silver coating material, on the upper surface and the back surface. The insulating case 10 of each heater is constituted of a lower part 10a of the insulating case as a covering base body and an upper part 10b of the insulating case and is hermetically sealed by coating the heating element 4 and metallic terminals 8. Temp. is thus rapidly rised by the heating elements 4 and moistureproofing is improved by the insulating cases 10. The impression of a commercial power source to the heaters without dropping the voltage thereof is possible. |
