PURPOSE: To provide a buckle assembly, particularly, a buckle assembly that is used together with a kid's safety belt for vehicles. CONSTITUTION: Buckle assembly 36 comprises latch member 50 that is movable between an engaging position and a released position. The latch member can be moved from the engaging position to the released position by pressing push button 85 from the first position to the second position. The latch member can resist a force only provided by latch spring 64 when tongues 30, 40 are inserted into the buckle assembly thus moving from the engaging position to the released position. The push button can move from the first position to the second position as resisting a combined force provided by a latch spring and coil spring 92. |
