<p>PURPOSE:To selectively carry out the binding of a cell to a polymer utilizing a difference in a Km value for all the cells taking in glucose as an energy source by using a glucose transporter as a binding site. CONSTITUTION:A cell having a glucose transporter (e.g. an erythrocyte, HepG2 or a cell of a brain, the kidney, the colon, etc., having Glut1) is inoculated onto, e.g. a polymer, having the affinity for the glucose transporter (preferably a polymer having a residue in the side chain, more preferably a polymer in which the reducing terminal of the glucose residue is not used for binding, e.g. a polymer of formula I, II, etc.) and adsorbed or chemically bound to a culture substrate.</p> |
