PURPOSE:To provide a polyester film with fine slidability and abrasion resistance. CONSTITUTION:The laminated polyester film and the manufacture thereof are featured such that at least one outermost layer of a coextrusion laminated polyester film consists of polyester having a melting point of 240 deg.C or lower and containing mono-dispersion particles of an average particle diameter (d50) 0.05-1.5mum, and 1.5 or lower in its particle diameter distribution value, and the ratio (d50/t) between the thickness (t) of the outermost layer and the average particle diameter (d50) of mono-dispersion particles in the outermost layer is 0.8-10.
