PURPOSE:To enable the machining such as cutting, welding, etc., even in an interpolating point by providing a detecting means for detecting distance between the surface of a working material and the tip part of a torch and a correcting means for correcting the output value of a laser beam generator based on the variation of the detected distance. CONSTITUTION:The distance between the surface of the working material W and the tip part of the torch T is detected with a sensor, and based on this sensor data, the output value of the laser beam generator 1 is corrected to progress the machining. This machining can do by using so simple mechanism that only the detecting means for detecting the distance is arranged, and a moving part of a motor, etc., for correcting the distance (height) in the approaching direction is unnecessary. By this constitution, as the constitution which can mount to even a six axial machine of the complicate mechanism having three axes at the tip part of the arm, by using this laser beam machine, even in the interpolating point between teaching points, the good machining can be executed. |
