<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the rotational vibration of a steering shaft while suppressing increase in the torque on the steering shaft. CONSTITUTION:The first lever 21 is provided whose one end is in friction engagement with one side of a steering shaft 12 through a friction material S while other end is in contact with one-side inner surface of a column tube 13. The second lever 22 is provided whose one end is in friction engagement with the other side of the steering shaft 12 through a friction material S, other end is in contact with the other-side inner surface 13b of the column tube 13, and middle part is rotatably coupled with the middle part of the first lever 21, and further a spring 23 is provided which is interposed between the first and second levers 21, 22 to energize them so that they hold the steering shaft 12 pinchedly.</p> |
