PURPOSE:To miniaturize a radiator and a ventilation fan and to reduce the cost of the rice cooker by leading heating of a high frequency current generating means to a high frequency magnetic field preventing/reflecting plate, and radiating heat into the air from the reflecting plate. CONSTITUTION:A reflecting plate 7 operates as magnetic shielding parts which can obstruct a fact that a line of magnetic force generated from an induction heating coil 3 goes out outside a main body 1. A radiator 6 and a reflecting plate 7 are allowed to fit closely and coupled to each other with a screw, therefore, heating from a power element constituting a high frequency current generating means 4 passes through the radiator 6 and reaches the reflecting plate 7. Accordingly, this heating is diffused into the air from both of the radiator 6 and the reflecting plate 7 and cooled by ventilation air of a ventilation fan 5. Both of the radiator 6 and the reflecting plate 7 can be used for heat radiation, and a heat transfer area can be increased remarkably compared with a conventional one using only the radiator 6. As a result the radiator 6 can be miniaturized, or the ventilation fan 5 be made to be a low output one and miniaturized. In such a way, the induction heating rice cooker which is miniature as a whole and is low in its cost can be realized. |
