摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a rear wheel steering control device for a four-wheel steering car in which the rear wheels are steered through controlling the rotation of a brushless motor, thereby, the steering responsiveness of the rear wheels is enhanced and generation of the hunting phenomena in the steering of the rear wheels is precluded. CONSTITUTION:In the case where the absolute value of the deviation of the actual steering angle of rear wheels from the target steering angle value is large, the exciting current formed by an excitor circuit 41 controlled by a PID control circuit 38, which is set to a high gain, is supplied to a brushless motor 21 through a selector circuit 47, and the rotation of the motor 21 is subjected to a high gain PID servo control, which enhances the steering responsiveness of the rear wheels. When the absolute value remains small, the exciting current formed by another excitor circuit 42 controlled by a step drive control circuit 39 is supplied to the brushless motor 21 via a selector circuit 47, and the rotation of the motor 21 is subjected to step drive control and there is no overshoot in the steering of the rear wheels.
