PURPOSE:To enable starting of the engine without repeating the discrimination of the holder after completion of the discrimination of the holder to unlock the engine. CONSTITUTION:When the steering lock is turned on, the lock flag F of the memory 51a is set. When this lock flag F is set, the ignition permitting signal D is not transmitted from the control unit 51 even when the key is turned to the ON position by the unlocking action, and thereby, the engine starting is prohibited. When the personal code number is received by a key input part 52 and the discrimination of the holder is completed, the lock flag F is cleared. When the lock flag F is cleared, the ignition permitting signal D is transmitted from the control unit 51 at any time by turning the key to the ON position, and the engine starting is permitted. |
