CLEANING METHOD FOR BLOW MOLDING DIE

PURPOSE:To smoothly remove the old resin bonded to the manifold having a resin passage formed to a core to remain thereon by exposing the surface of the core by allowing only a die housing to fall to remove the resin bonded to the surface of the core to remain thereon by a mechanical means. CONSTITUTION:A shaft rod 52 is attached to the drive motor provided to a portable or fixed device. A mechanical means wherein wire brushes 51 are fixed to the leading end part of the shaft rod 52 in a radially bundled state is used and the old resin bonded to a manifold 12 to remain thereon is forcibly removed while the wire brushes 51 are revolved by the drive motor. In this case, if a portable cleaning device 50 is used as the mechanical means, the device 50 is moved around a core 8 along the upper surface part wherein the old resin is easiest to remain of the manifold 12 to forcibly clean a die.
