PURPOSE:To take up the semimolten film or sheet emitted from a die at a high speed by a taking-up roll and to prevent the contraction, undulation or edge waviness phenomenon of both edge parts of a semimolten film or sheet with higher stability. CONSTITUTION:In the production of film or sheet, the semimolten film or sheet 3 emitted from a die 2 is brought into contact with the projections 6 provided to the outer periphery of a taking-up roll 4 in the vicinity of both ends thereof at its both edge parts 5, 5 to be taken up by the roll in such a state that the other part 7 between both edge parts of the film or sheet is not in contact with the surface of the taking-up roll 4. |
