摘要 PURPOSE:To absorb shocks and make transmission, even thereafter, of the rotating of a steering wheel by coupling an inner shaft and an outer shaft on the way thereof, and forming a resin part which is sheared by a load over a threashold in such a condition as opening the counter-path of a slipoff preventive means for the inner shaft. CONSTITUTION:At the insert end 12c of an inner shaft 12, a pin 12d is provided protrusively at the bottom of a groove a2, and on the opening 11b side of an outer shaft 11, a throttle 11c is formed along the section of the inner shaft 12 in the condition that a gap is reserved to the side face a3, and a caulk part 11d is provided for engagement of the opening 11b with the groove a2. A counter-path PS is formed between the groove a2 and the inner surface of the inner shaft 11 so that the pin 12d is engaged with the caulk part 11d when the shafts 11, 12 elongate and the slipoff preventing function is exerted. A resin is injected and hardened in the part on the way of the shafts 11, 12 through holes 11e, 12e, and a resin part 13 is formed which is sheared by a shock.
