PURPOSE:To provide a steering adjusting device for vehicle which can adjust the steering wheel easily to the optimum position relative to a driver. CONSTITUTION:A steering shaft 2 has a pin 3 which is tilted to the axis and is slid fore and aft by a slide shaft 4. The operations are generated by a tilt motor 5 and a fore-and-aft motor 6. When micro-movement is generated from the steering wheel in the direction fore and aft or up and down, a fore-and-aft switch 15 and tilt switches 16A, 16B sense the micro-movement, and the data is transmitted to a control device to conduct the fore-and-aft and tilt adjustments, and if the steering wheel is put free and the force applied is liberated, the steering shaft inner 14 is returned to the neutral position through the action of a resilient piece 44. |
