PURPOSE:To provide a liquid feed composition for juvenile livestock capable of improving the survival rate of juvenile livestock excellent in their growing efficiency, useful for newly born pigs, etc., consisting mainly of fatty oil containing at least specified amount of specific saturated fatty acid(s). CONSTITUTION:The composition consisting mainly of fatty oil containing >=10 (pref. >=25) wt.% of 6-12C (pref. 6-10C) saturated fatty acid(s) in the fatty acid composition therein. It is preferable that the proportion of >=16C unsaturated fatty acids in the fatty acid composition in said fatty oil be 20-70wt.% and the final composition be orally administered to e.g. a juvenile pig at 0.5-10g a day. |
