PURPOSE:To attempt to simplify the constitution of a bed apparatus moving a patient on a matress and to miniaturize it by making the first and the second matress parts in a peristalic motion in the specified direction while the first and the second matress parts are relatively moved up and down in accordance with the rotational movement of a rotating body and to move the patient in the peristalic direction of the matress parts. CONSTITUTION:One end of a connecting member 14 is connected with disc-shaped rotating bodies 10a and 10b provided on a bed frame and rotatably driven on the peripheral direction and the first matress part 21 is fixed on another end of the connecting member 14. In addition, the second connecting member 16 one end of which is connected with the rotating body 10 being separated at a specified angle from the connecting member 14 in the peripheral direction, is provided and the second matress part 22 is fixed on another end of the connecting member 16 which makes in a peristlic motion while it moves relatively up and down to the first matress part 21 by rotating the rotating body 10. The first matress part 21 and the second matress part 22 make in a peristalic motion while they are moved relatively up and down in accordance of the radius of the rotating body 10 by rotating the rotating body 10 to move a user in the specified direction.
