CONE-SHAPED TWIN-SCREW EXTRUDER

PURPOSE:To provide the title extruder capable of using a usual small-sized bevel gear and good in power transmission efficiency. CONSTITUTION:In a cone-shaped twin-screw extruder, two rotor shafts 1 are arranged in a freely rotatable manner so that the distance between them becomes small toward the leading ends thereof and a cooperation device 2 connecting two rotor shafts 1 in a cooperative state is provided on the base sides of the rotor shafts. The cooperation device 2 has a pair of the speed reducers 3 provided to the base parts of the rotor shafts 1 and each of the speed reducers 3 is constituted of a bevel gear train and a planetary gear. Further, bevel gear devices 15 are connected to the high speed shafts 5 of the speed reducers 3 in a cooperative state and one shafts of the bevel gear devices 15 are used as the connection shafts 23 protruding toward the other bevel gear devices 15 and a pair of the connection shafts 23 are mutually connected in a cooperative state by a coupling device 24.
