The cap (4) has a security strip (6) round its lower edge, equipped with a series of apertures (10) which engage with teeth (11) projecting from the outer surface of the bottle neck (2) when the cap is fitted. Each tooth has a curved and inclined outer surface which pushes the security ring outwards as the cap is fitted, and a radial rear face (11b) which prevents the cap from being unscrewed once it has been fitted. The apertures (10) and zones of reduced strength between the cap and security strip are made at the time of moulding. ADVANTAGE - Simple to mfr., with full guarantee of security.
