PURPOSE:To enable the correction of printing content or the erasure of an image by repeatedly performing a process using a specific reversible thermal recording medium to apply heat thereto to form a developed color recording state and an erasing process letting the recording medium in the developed color recording state stand in natural environment to erase the recording state. CONSTITUTION:A reversible thermal recording medium is used to repeatedly form an image. That is, a developed color recording state forming process due to the application of heat and an erasing process letting the recording medium of the developed color recording state stand in natural environment are repeatedly performed. At this time, the reversible thermal recording medium is formed by providing a specific recording layer on a support. The specific recording layer is formed from a compsn. prepared by adding a compsn. containing a color erasing agent capable of changing a reversible thermal color forming compsn. containing an electron-donating color-forming org. compd. and an electron-acceptive compd. to a color erased state to without heating. The color erasing agent is composed of a mixture of two or more kinds of higher alcohols, higher esters and higher amides. |
